a wandering bear at heart
I’m Bebs - a Londoner by way of Scotland, forever toggling between tube maps and topographic ones. I’m the kind of traveller who accidentally books their next trip while still doing laundry from the last.
My love of travel started early. Growing up between cultures, I learnt that the best stories often begin with a missed train, a confused look, and a wildly optimistic itinerary. And that hasn’t changed.
I’m not here to collect countries or pose by landmarks. I’m here for the alleyway discoveries, the unexpected detours, the meals that ruin you for all others. The real stuff - messy, magical, memorable.
Not every journey goes to plan.
That’s where the gold is.
(why the bear?)
"Bear With Me" is more than a pun (though I do love a pun). It’s a nod to my family nickname 'Bear', a wink to every traveller stuck on hold trying to rebook a flight, and a gentle reminder to give myself grace while navigating life’s many detours - literal and otherwise.
